How To Know If You Are Ready for Immigration to the United States

Are you ready for immigration to the United States of America?

LANGUAGE - Are you ready to learn English? It is imperative that you learn the english language if you are planning to move to the United States of America. There are many well meaning yet ill informed individuals that will give you documentation and help in Spanish or your native language. This is not good for you. Total immersion into the society and language is best. If you do not learn english, you will not be able to prosper.

Make sure that your children learn english also. Do not allow them to attend school in a classroom where the teacher speaks their native language. It makes it harder for them to learn english and thwarts their progress.

CULTURE - Your culture will change even if you think it will not and even if you do not want it to. The American culture is so different that you will change. If you do not want to change, why are you leaving your native country in the first place?

GIVING UP YOUR CITIZENSHIP - You will be required to give up your citizenship of your native country to become a U.S. Citizen. U.S. law does not allow you to have citizenship in two countries.
